Accountabilities

  • Work with SQL databases, including understanding database architecture, writing queries, and supporting efficient data management.

  • Contribute proactively to technical discussions, code quality, development practices, and the continuous improvement of the engineering culture.

  • Participate in the development and refinement of testing, continuous integration, and deployment workflows as appropriate.

  • Stay current with relevant technologies and development practices, continually expanding technical knowledge and contributing to team success.

Requirements
  • 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in full-stack development or software engineering.

  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including software architecture, algorithms, and problem-solving.

  • Strong hands-on experience with React for frontend development and Node.js for backend development.

  • Experience consuming and building REST and GraphQL APIs.

  • Familiarity with SQL database architecture, relational data models, and database querying.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical colleagues, project managers, designers, and clients.

  • A proactive and collaborative working style, with the ability to contribute to a multidisciplinary team and take ownership of assigned tasks.

  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies, improve development practices, and expand technical expertise.

The following qualifications are considered assets:

  • Experience with mobile application development using native technologies or React Native.

  • Familiarity with TypeScript.

  • Understanding of automated testing practices and quality assurance approaches.

  • Quarterly profit-sharing opportunities.

  • Generous health and dental coverage.

  • Flexible working schedule.

  • Remote work and work-from-home flexibility.

  • Generous paid time off.
