Data Solutions Architect

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Solutions Architect in United States.

This role is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving a modern enterprise data ecosystem that supports analytics, reporting, and AI-driven use cases. You will act as the key architect between Analytics and Technology, ensuring data structures are scalable, secure, and trusted across the organization. The position focuses on building strong data modeling standards, enabling high-quality BI reporting, and ensuring reliable data pipelines across multiple business systems. You will play a critical role in defining governance, access controls, and data quality frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to translate complex needs into robust data products. This is a hands-on architecture leadership role shaping the company’s long-term data foundation.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, evolve, and govern the enterprise Snowflake data architecture
  • Define and enforce data modeling standards across business domains
  • Build scalable schemas, views, and datasets for BI, analytics, and AI use cases
  • Develop and optimize SQL, stored procedures, and data transformation logic
  • Improve performance, cost efficiency, and scalability of data warehouse environments
  • Define and manage RBAC, data access policies, masking, and PII protections
  • Oversee data pipeline architecture and ensure reliable ETL/ELT processes
  • Partner with Technology, Security, and BI teams on integrations and data governance
  • Support data ingestion from systems such as ERP, eCommerce, and logistics platforms
  • Establish data lineage, documentation, validation, and reconciliation standards
  • Enable “single source of truth” datasets for executive and operational reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into reusable data products
  • Advise leadership on architecture strategy, risks, and roadmap priorities

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake architecture and optimization
  • Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures and performance tuning
  • Experience designing scalable data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Strong background in data modeling for BI and enterprise reporting
  • Proven experience implementing data governance and access control frameworks
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
  • Strong understanding of modern data pipelines and integration patterns
  • Familiarity with AI-ready or advanced analytics data architectures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
  • Experience in ecommerce, retail, or omnichannel environments preferred
