Job Description
A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking an exempt Dental Implant Fellow on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The one-year, part-time Dental Implant Fellowship program is designed to provide the fellow with training in implant dentistry, including both surgical placement and restorative procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive implant-related patient care, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical implant placement and restoration under the supervision of specialty faculty (Periodontics, Prosthodontics, OMFS).
- Execute advanced clinical procedures, including alveolar ridge preservation, tissue regeneration, and management of implant-related follow-up and emergency care.
- Support digital dentistry workflows, including digital implant restoration and application of CAD/CAM technologies in both clinical and laboratory settings.
- Collaborate with faculty and clinical teams, assisting with patient care coordination, follow-ups, and interdisciplinary treatment execution.
- Engage in clinical education and student support, working directly with dental students during surgical and restorative procedures to reinforce learning and clinical best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Successfully complete D.D.S/ D.M.D from a CODA approved US Dental School with eligibility for licensure in the state of Arizona
- No Experience required; 1-3 years experience preferred
