  • Perform OpenShift lifecycle management, including platform updates, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing operational support.
  • Work independently on technically demanding engagements while collaborating with customers and internal teams to resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
  • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 7–9 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, consulting, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization in bare-metal, on-premises environments.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualization certification.
  • Strong understanding of OpenShift core infrastructure, including DNS, NTP, networking, storage, and bare-metal installation.
  • Experience with Redfish, Virtual Media, Hybrid Cloud Console, Agent-based Installer, and Assisted Installer.
  • Extensive knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization, Migration Toolkit for Virtualization, and VM and container workload lifecycle management.
  • Comprehensive OpenShift networking expertise, including OVS bridges, Linux bridges, VLAN management, port configurations, and iSCSI storage networking.
  • Experience with GitOps, Helm, OpenShift Operators, authentication, RBAC, and Okta integration.
  • Strong knowledge of OpenShift observability, including logging, metrics, alerting, and platform monitoring.
  • Experience managing OpenShift lifecycle operations, including updates and upgrades.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to independently diagnose complex infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and technical teams.
  • Willingness and ability to work remotely.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements.
