Housekeeper Per Diem in Avon, Connecticut at AVON HEALTH CENTER

$17.50/hour

This is a Per Diem Position and may require working in Laundry as needed.

7 am to 3 pm

The housekeeping attendant would be responsible for cleaning all areas of their assigned wing or section, including resident rooms and bathrooms. Attendant may be requested to work in Laundry on occasion. The laundry attendant would be responsible for sorting soiled linens, washing, drying and folding linen.

• Attention to detail is a must!
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Desire to work in a senior resident community
• Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to ensure effective communication and resident care, documentation, and safety purposes.
• Must be reliable. We are a 24-hour/day, 365 days a year facility open during holidays and inclement weather.

Avon Health Center is just a 15-20 minute ride from Hartford! 84 West to Exit 39/Route 4

Experience in facility housekeeping and laundry preferred
