Assistant Manager in Holmen, Wisconsin at Fun Fur Pets

Do you like the hustle and bustle of restaurant work but NOT dealing with the people? Do you have prior management experience in a customer service based setting? Are you a pack leader and can lead a team of humans and canines? We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager at Pawesome Pets Country Club located off of OT in Holmen, Wisconsin.

Our ideal candidate has the ability to pay attention to detail, follow and implement protocols and procedures, is great at multitasking, good with staff AND clients, and enjoys the company of dogs. We encourage those with retail, food service and customer service experience to apply!

This role is expected to work 40 hours/week. Working every other weekend and holidays will be required. We are open 365 days a year.

Hours vary Mon-Fri 6am-1, 8-330 or 1230-730pm and varying shifts on the weekends of 630am-1 or 4-10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff are following our standard operating procedures
• Engage with our human and canine clientele
• Keep accurate records of daily activities
• Use creativity and develop weekly enrichment activities for canines
• Ensure that proper guidelines are followed for cleaning protocols and day-to-day tasks
• Filling in where needed in the facility
• This is not a desk job; you will be on your feet for the majority of your shifts

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or management experience
• Ideal candidate has worked in a service based industry
• Have the philosophy of leading by example
• Cannot be allergic to cats or dogs. Must be comfortable with dogs, cats, ferrets, bunnies, birds and other animals
• Communication skills, computer knowledge and general office skills
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle

Employees will receive online employee training in addition to hands-on learning.

Pay Rate: $20.00-25.00
