This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C# .NET, React) based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud-based financial management software used across the global insurance industry. You’ll take ownership of key areas of a high-impact platform while contributing to architecture, technical design, development, and quality. Working within a collaborative Agile engineering environment, you’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and QA specialists to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. The position combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement. You’ll work with modern technologies across .NET, React, Kubernetes, SQL Server, GCP, and AI-assisted development. Your contributions will help improve accounting and reconciliation capabilities while advancing the platform’s performance, maintainability, and long-term technical direction.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, cloud-native software solutions using C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Build and enhance robust accounting, financial management, and reconciliation applications.
- Architect systems with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Develop and deploy applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams throughout sprint planning, development, testing, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead and contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Apply AI-assisted development and automation to reduce repetitive work, accelerate delivery, and improve engineering decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct research, and develop effective solutions across the application stack.
- Mentor and support other engineers through technical guidance, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in development practices, automation, software quality, and engineering processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant professional programming experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Strong proficiency with C#/.NET, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, SQL Server, OpenAPI, Apigee, and GCP.
- Experience developing and supporting cloud-based applications and working with technologies such as Datadog, GitLab, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of SaaS application development, automated testing, software quality, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum or Kanban, with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to use AI and automation effectively within software development workflows to improve productivity and delivery quality.
- Strong architectural thinking, troubleshooting, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively through ambiguity.
- Experience conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain engineering standards.
- Demonstrated ability to guide and support other software engineers with technical problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in startup environments or the insurance industry is a plus.
- Experience building or integrating General Ledger, accounting, or reconciliation systems at scale is preferred.
- Exposure to Node.js development and payment technologies is an advantage.

- Targeted starting base salary range of $125,000–$150,000 annually in the United States, with compensation determined by experience, skills, and role scope.
