Position Summary The Center for Stable Isotopes is looking for an undergraduate studentto help with the following duties: preparation of samples for isotopicmeasurements, supporting technical staff and graduate students with variousexperimental procedures.

The student is expected to have the ability to learn the operationalcharacteristics of the equipment and materials used in a laboratory; to performduties in an semi-independent manner; learn laboratory techniques andprocedures; understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicateclearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and establish and maintaincooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course ofwork.

Ability to learn the operationalfunctions of laboratory equipment.

Ability to learn laboratory techniques and procedures used with varioussample preparation protocols.
