Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club is seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced Pickleball Coach to join our Racquets team. This position is an exciting opportunity for a passionate pickleball professional who enjoys teaching, developing players, and creating an engaging and welcoming experience for members of all skill levels.

The Pickleball Coach will provide high-quality private and group instruction while supporting clinics, leagues, tournaments, social events, and other racquet programming. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, dependable, and committed to delivering the exceptional level of service expected within a premier private club environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide private, semi-private, and group pickleball instruction for beginner through advanced players.

Conduct instructional clinics, drills, camps, and player-development programs.

Assist with organizing and executing leagues, round robins, tournaments, exhibitions, and social events.

Evaluate player abilities and provide individualized instruction to improve technique, strategy, positioning, and overall performance.

Create a fun, inclusive, and professional environment that encourages member participation and continued development.

Build strong relationships with members and actively promote pickleball programs and instructional opportunities.

Assist with court programming, scheduling, and other Racquets Department activities as needed.

Maintain courts, teaching equipment, and program areas in a professional and organized manner.

Follow all Grand Harbor policies, procedures, safety standards, and member-service expectations.

Collaborate with the Director of Racquets and other Racquets professionals to support the overall success and growth of Grand Harbor's racquet sports program.

Qualifications

Previous pickleball coaching, teaching, or competitive playing experience preferred.

Pickleball teaching certification through a recognized organization is preferred.

Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, strategy, and player development.

Ability to effectively teach players with a wide range of ages, abilities, and experience levels.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on member programming, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience working in a private club, resort, or hospitality environment is a plus.
