Director of Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Marketing based in France.

This role sits at the center of the go-to-market strategy, shaping a modern demand generation engine across the EMEA and APAC regions.
You will own the strategy, systems, and execution required to generate predictable, efficient pipeline and support sustainable revenue growth.
As an individual contributor, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to establish and scale demand generation capabilities.
You will leverage AI, automation, predictive analytics, and experimentation to improve targeting, personalization, conversion, and marketing efficiency.
Working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, and data teams, you will create strong alignment between marketing activity and commercial outcomes.
The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to build sophisticated reporting, testing, and optimization frameworks from the ground up.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, data-driven decision-making, and continuous innovation are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy across EMEA and APAC, directly connecting marketing programs to pipeline and revenue objectives.
  • Build and manage scalable programs designed to consistently generate high-quality, sales-ready opportunities and strengthen the overall demand generation engine.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve audience targeting, personalization, lead scoring, campaign execution, and marketing productivity.
  • Apply predictive analytics and intent data to identify high-value prospects, improve conversion rates, and increase the efficiency of marketing investments.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI-powered tools and workflows and integrate relevant technologies into the marketing ecosystem to create additional leverage.
  • Own the full marketing funnel from acquisition through conversion, identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and overall funnel performance.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns across paid media, email, content, webinars, events, and other relevant channels, allocating budget and resources according to performance and ROI.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing Operations to align on ICP definition, targeting, lead handoffs, pipeline quality, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Build and refine reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into campaign, channel, and funnel performance, translating data into actionable recommendations for decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Establish a high-velocity experimentation roadmap covering messaging, audiences, channels, offers, and campaign approaches, rapidly scaling successful initiatives and iterating on underperforming ones.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on positioning and messaging while working with marketing and data teams to ensure scalable systems, reliable reporting, and effective execution.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience within a B2B SaaS environment, with deep expertise in demand generation and a strong understanding of the SaaS growth model.
  • Proven track record of owning both strategy and execution and delivering measurable impact on pipeline generation and revenue.
  • Strong experience developing reporting frameworks, interpreting marketing data, and using insights to optimize campaigns, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Fluency in core SaaS metrics such as CAC, LTV, pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and other performance indicators.
  • Hands-on experience using AI, automation, predictive analytics, intent data, or other advanced technologies to improve marketing outcomes.
  • Strong curiosity and a proactive mindset toward adopting new tools, technologies, and workflows that create greater efficiency and marketing leverage.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, ABM platforms such as Demandbase, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with modern AI-enabled marketing tools for intent data, predictive analytics, workflow automation, and prospecting is highly valuable.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously as a highly hands-on individual contributor, with the ability to take ownership and make decisions independently.
  • Ability to move quickly from strategic planning to execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
Benefits:
  • Opportunity to own and shape a modern demand generation engine across the EMEA and APAC regions.
  • High-impact role with direct influence on pipeline generation, marketing efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Significant autonomy and ownership as a hands-on individual contributor.
  • Opportunity to build and optimize marketing systems, reporting frameworks, and scalable demand generation programs.
  • Exposure to AI-native marketing technologies, automation, predictive analytics, intent data, and emerging tools.
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, data, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Fast-paced environment that encourages experimentation, continuous improvement, and adoption of innovative approaches.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a growing international SaaS business serving customers across diverse global markets.
  • Inclusive workplace culture that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
  • Commitment to accessibility and reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment and employment process.
