Salary Range: $62,609.83 - $93,914.74
Typical starting wage range: $62,609.83 - $78,262.29
Gaming Class: Compact/Gaming License required

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is directly responsible for coordinating and supervising all maintenance and construction functions for Fortune Bay Resort Casino, resulting in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for guests as well as employees. The incumbent oversees department personnel and ensures adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Core Duties And Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the following duties.
- Establish standards and policies for installation, modification, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to recommendations and safety regulations.
- Direct ongoing, preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds, and coordinate requirements for equipment and machinery personnel.
- Using available technologies, develop and implement systems to ensure proactive and preventative maintenance for all Fortune Bay Resort Casino and BFDC properties.
- Develop and implement an onboarding process for new employees to ensure that they are trained in all the basic aspects of maintenance.
- Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
- Inspect buildings and office areas to evaluate suitability of occupancy, considering factors as air circulation, lighting, location, electrical, and size.
- Draw or cause to be drawn, design layout, including location of furniture, equipment, doorways, electrical, telephone, and computer outlets.
- Provide detailed timelines for completion of construction or remodeling projects, including all costs associated with the project. This also includes coordination with all department managers involved.
- Provide a complete and comprehensive forecast for all expenses within property maintenance, grounds and landscaping, project management and planning on a yearly basis. This forecast should be inclusive to provide for the preventative maintenance of all equipment including vehicles, pressure vessels and electronic control devices. Additionally, a preventive maintenance schedule should accompany this forecast as document support.
- Responsible for management of Maintenance department personnel including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, progressive discipline, terminations, attendance tracking, and payroll.
- Manage inventory control.
- Create and distribute schedules and post them to ADP.
- Oversee Time and Attendance
- Delegate duties to team members accordingly, with direction from the Director of Facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior facility maintenance experience and exceptional knowledge of the working systems within them.
- Boiler License.
- Pool Operators License.
- Prior experience maintaining mechanical equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Computer literate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous leadership role in a trades type environment.
- Previous experience creating and maintaining working schedules.
Work Environment:
The Maintenance Manager will work in a fast paced environment where good overall physical and mental health is required. Driving, lifting, and extensive ladder use is required. Exposure to second-hand cigarette smoke will be expected in designated smoking areas. Reasonable physical accommodations will be made when necessary.
