Position Summary

This position provides an opportunity to operate with an independent nature and with a keen focus on quality care. In addition to clinic duties, as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with Agile you will sharpen your leadership skills by joining a medical team with expertise in occupational medicine, coaching back-office staff, educating nursing staff and students. At Agile, you can directly and positively affect change every day in patients’ lives.

Schedule: Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities available. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation: This is a salaried, exempt position. Compensation is based on an equivalent hourly range of $70.00– $85.00 and will be converted to an annual salary based on the selected schedule. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Location: Flexible home clinic assignment based on the provider's preference and available clinic capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telemedicine coverage to support clinic overflow, provider call-outs, and other staffing needs across the state.
  • Conduct remote evaluation, assessment, and triage of patient injuries or medical conditions, including work-related injuries, as clinically appropriate.
  • Provide clinical guidance intended to stabilize patients, determine acuity, and recommend the appropriate level of care, including referral for in-person evaluation, urgent care, or emergency services when indicated.
  • Formulate treatment recommendations, follow-up guidance, and, where applicable, return-to-work or activity restrictions consistent with occupational medicine and telemedicine standards.
  • Perform all services in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and professional standards governing practice and the delivery of telemedicine services.
  • Collaborate with medical leadership for purposes of clinical consultation, quality assurance, peer review, and regulatory compliance, as required by applicable supervisory or collaborative practice laws.
  • Timely and accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record system, as required for clinical, billing, and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and authorizations necessary to provide telemedicine services in state in which services are rendered.
  • Perform all services in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable standards of care.
Requirements:

Education/Credentials

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program and an unrestricted California PA/NP license (or license in progress)
  • Must meet all licensure requirements for the applicable state of practice
  • Current BLS, AED and ACLS certification required

  • Working knowledge of medical office administration and procedures

  • Preferred experience with electronic medical record application
