Detailing Technician in Fargo, North Dakota at Bailey's Automotive Services Inc

Bailey’s is looking for an Automotive Detail Technician to join our growing team in Fargo, ND.

If you enjoy working with vehicles, take pride in seeing immediate results from your work, and want to learn new skills, this could be a great opportunity.

You’ll work on a wide variety of vehicles and occasionally boats, performing everything from interior and exterior detailing to paint correction, ceramic coatings, and other reconditioning services.

Experience is helpful, but not required. We provide hands-on training for the right person.

Bailey’s is a locally and privately owned automotive company that began in 2012 offering paintless dent repair services. Since then, we’ve continued to grow and expand into vehicle detailing, marine detailing, collision repair, and additional automotive reconditioning services.

As an Automotive Detail Technician, you will:

• Wash and prepare vehicles
• Perform complete interior detailing, including vacuuming, blowing, shampooing, scrubbing, brushing, and cleaning interior surfaces
• Perform exterior detailing, including washing, degreasing, pressure washing, drying, claying, buffing, polishing, and waxing
• Perform paint correction
• Apply ceramic coatings
• Perform glass chip repair
• Perform headlight restoration
• Perform paint touch-ups
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet Bailey’s quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Coordinate with other team members to keep vehicles moving through production
• Learn additional reconditioning services and skills
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Meet established job deadlines

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass applicable drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and work for extended periods while standing, sitting, bending, or kneeling
• Ability to safely work around automotive cleaning products, chemicals, and odors

• 1+ year of automotive detailing experience
• Buffing and polishing experience
• Paint correction experience
• Ceramic coating experience
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
