Where You Fit In

The Regional Hiring Specialist serves as the primary recruiting resource for South Carolina branches, providing hands-on recruiting and training support for drivers, field managers, assistant field managers, and crew members. In this role, you'll partner closely with branch and regional leadership and the Talent Acquisition team to bring recruiting strategies and priorities to life across the region. While the Talent Acquisition team sets the overall corporate recruiting strategy, processes, and direction, you'll play a key role in putting those strategies into action at the branch level.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting Support
  • Partner with branch and regional leadership to understand workforce needs and prioritize recruiting efforts.
  • Serve as the primary recruiting resource in South Carolina for drivers, field managers, assistant field managers, and crew.
  • Source, attract, screen, and engage candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, community outreach, networking, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines aligned with branch and regional needs.
  • Pre-screen candidates, provide hiring managers with candidate insights, and support interview coordination and timely communication.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information and activity in the Applicant Tracking System and follow established recruiting processes.
  • Provide hands-on recruiting guidance and coaching to branch leaders and employees.
  • Execute Talent Acquisition strategies based on local branch needs and labor market conditions.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, recruiting events, community events, and other talent-related activities.

Training & Development Support
  • Provide recruiting training, coaching, and guidance to branch leaders and employees in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Support employee training and development needs identified by branch and regional leadership.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees, including partnering with Area Managers to identify opportunities for additional support.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Training, Talent Acquisition, and Operations on training initiatives.

Partnership & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in recruiting and management meetings to discuss staffing needs, activity, challenges, and priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships with branch and regional leadership and Talent Acquisition to align local recruiting efforts with company priorities and best practices.
  • Monitor local labor market trends, share insights, and identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and training.
  • Track recruiting activity and results and provide recommendations to improve regional recruiting support.

Reports to: Regional Vice President - South Carolina
Functional partnership with: Director of Talent Acquisition
Collaborates with: Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Training, and Branch & Regional Operations

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, or a related field; experience with hourly or field-based hiring preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, branch leaders, and regional leadership.
  • Ability to coach, train, and provide guidance to others.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-directed and adaptable, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools, job boards, social media, and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
  • Ability to understand and use basic recruiting data and metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Work Environment & Travel
  • This position works closely with South Carolina branch and regional leadership across both office and field environments.
  • Regular travel to branch locations, recruiting events, and other company activities is required, with occasional evening, weekend, and overnight travel based on business and recruiting needs.
  • The role currently supports branches across the greater Charleston and Hilton Head markets, the surrounding coastal region, and the Savannah/North Georgia area. As the company grows, the position may support additional locations throughout South Carolina.
  • This is a fast-paced role where priorities may shift based on business and staffing.
