Materials and Inventory Control Specialist in Lincoln at ICIMS - Lutron Electronics Company, Inc

Lutron is seeking a Materials and Inventory Controls Specialist to join our manufacturing team, working at Tanury, a Lutron company, at our Lincoln, Rhode Island facility. Tanury is the premier decorative plater in the nation and; our work can be seen on high-end motorcycle and automotive parts, private and commercial aviation, marine hardware - even on the items you may wear such as high-end gift or jewelry items.

In this role you will maintain reliable inventory accuracy in an environment with high scrap rates, rework, material movements, and frequent inventory transactions. You will work to identify discrepancies quickly, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues that threaten production or inventory integrity.

• Maintain accurate inventory transactions through receiving, issuing, return, storage, and scrap processes, and performing physical inventory.
• Receive raw material, inventory and store it in warehouse.
• Ensure scrap is identified, segregated, recorded, and removed from available inventory.
• Conduct frequent cycle counts and investigate inventory variances, and reconcile physical inventor
• Provide inventory reports to management.
• Identify recurring sources of inventory error and recommend corrective actions.
• Pick, stage, and dispatch material to production.
• Maintain warehouse organization, accurate labeling, and location control.
• Communicate shortages, discrepancies, and production risks clearly and promptly.
• Partner with plant quality to manage incoming material quality inspections.
• Persistent follow-up on discrepancies and incomplete transactions.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, two-year associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of inventory control, materials, or warehouse experience.
• Proven manufacturing experience in an environment involving scrap, rework, and material substitutions.
• Experience improving inventory accuracy through cycle counting, labeling, standard work, or transaction controls.
• Experience using ERP/MRP or inventory-management systems.
• Ability to read in English production schedules, bills of material, and material requirements.
• Practical problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate with internal production stakeholders and outside vendors.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
