  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms using Azure services such as ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric pipelines, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Azure Data Factory
  • Implement and support lakehouse and Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) across enterprise datasets
  • Integrate data from diverse sources including ERP systems, APIs, streaming data, and MDM/PIM platforms
  • Build and maintain data models (dimensional, star/snowflake) to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Enable Power BI semantic models and datasets for enterprise reporting and self-service analytics
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps and GitHub, ensuring automation and reliability
  • Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and security using tools such as Microsoft Purview
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including transitions from legacy BI and ETL systems
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Contribute to engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the data organization
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in enterprise data engineering with deep expertise in Azure data services, modern data architecture, and large-scale pipeline development.

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or analytics roles
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data platforms
  • Strong experience with Azure services including ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Solid expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and SQL development
  • Experience building lakehouse architectures and implementing Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and 3NF
  • Experience integrating structured and unstructured data from APIs, event streams, and enterprise systems
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with DevOps, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep) is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI, semantic models, and enterprise reporting solutions
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments
Benefits
  • Fully remote position within the United States
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based bonus eligibility
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Strong 401(k) employer match program
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and parental leave
  • Professional development support, including certifications and training opportunities
  • Exposure to cutting-edge Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies
  • Collaborative, cross-functional environment with strong engineering culture
