This is an opportunity for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join a fast-growing environment focused on building scalable data infrastructure for complex, high-volume systems. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across a wide range of digital asset and financial workflows. You will work with modern cloud platforms and big data technologies to transform and integrate large-scale datasets from multiple sources into reliable, high-performance data warehouses. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge fintech and digital asset use cases, including DeFi, crypto accounting, and treasury management systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve data architecture, ensure data quality, and enable robust reporting capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, startup environments and enjoys solving complex data challenges at scale.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and move large datasets across multiple sources and systems.
- Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions using tools such as Google BigQuery and GCP services or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Use ETL tools such as Databricks to process high-volume datasets and ensure efficient data transformation workflows.
- Architect and improve data infrastructure to support both internal analytics and customer-facing reporting systems.
- Integrate data from diverse sources including relational databases, REST APIs, and cloud-based services into unified data models.
- Build reusable data components, libraries, and frameworks to improve scalability and engineering efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across all pipelines and storage systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Support ongoing optimization of data architecture to handle increasing volume and complexity of financial and digital asset data.
- Contribute to engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and CI/CD workflows.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on building scalable systems for large-scale data processing and analytics. You are a technically strong engineer who is comfortable working across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to transformation to warehousing. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about building reliable, high-quality data systems.
- 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering roles with strong programming skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Strong experience with ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading at scale.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Google BigQuery and GCP or equivalent technologies.
- Experience working with Databricks or similar distributed data processing tools.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouse architectures.
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and data integration patterns.
- Experience working in Agile environments with exposure to CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Passion for software quality, testing, and building reliable data systems.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market standards.
- Opportunity to work in a fast-growing startup in the digital assets and fintech space.
- Fully remote work environment within the United States.
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies including blockchain, DeFi, and crypto infrastructure.
- Career growth opportunities in a high-impact, scaling engineering organization.
- Collaborative and innovative engineering culture focused on ownership and quality.
- Opportunity to build systems handling large-scale, real-world financial data.
- Flexible work environment supporting autonomy and productivity.
