Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Alabama)
Job Type: Part-time / PRN
Compensation: Pay per session
Schedule: Flexible; Morning. evening and weekend availability preferred
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Alabama to join our fully remote psychiatry team. This role involves providing virtual psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care
Provide patient education on diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Alabama state regulations
Stay current with best practices in psychiatric care and telehealth delivery
Master’s degree or higher in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization
Current, active, and unrestricted Alabama APRN license (required)
PMHNP certification (required)
Experience in psychiatric or mental health care, including medication management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for virtual care
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience with tele-health platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
