Pathologist's Assistant in Boone, North Carolina at Appalachian Regional Healthcare System

The Pathology Assistant assists the Pathologist with autopsy and surgical pathology services. Accessioning, processing, and grossing of surgical specimens. Maintains morgue facilities and assists the Pathologist with performing autopsies. Disposes of tissue specimens and chemical waste. Performs routine instrument maintenance.
