Annual Wellness Scheduler in Kearney, Nebraska at Bryan Health

Greeting and providing excellent customer service when calling patients to schedule their Annual Wellness visist (AMV) and follow-up office call with their provider. Verify eligibility through WPS Government Health Administrators portal. Take messages and task nurses to return calls. Enter and update data in various databases. Cross0train to assist Switchboard and Receptionist. Maintain and keep a clean work environment.

• Greet and provide excellent customer service.
• Work in multiple computer systems.
• Work from an Excel spreadsheet to schedule patients for their AWV.
• Verify eligibility in WPS to help determine what type of Annual Wellness needs to be scheduled.
• Follow scheduling script when scheduling AWV.
• Schedule follow-up office visit with the provider if needed after AWV.
• Schedule labs and x-rays as needed.
• Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
• Maintain and keep a clean work environment.
• Duties may be added or subtracted at any time due to the needs of the organization.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of medical receptionist experience, medical terminology, and computer experience preferred.

• Organize/prioritize work.
• Work in an environment with patient populations of acute, chronic, and complex disease processes and follow written and oral instructions.
