Senior Google Buyer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Google Buyer based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of paid search growth for a fast-scaling direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.
The successful candidate will lead Google Ads strategy, manage significant advertising budgets, and drive measurable revenue impact through data-driven optimization.
You will work closely with senior leadership to develop growth strategies, improve campaign efficiency, and identify new opportunities.
This position requires deep expertise across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube advertising ecosystems.
You will operate as a strategic partner, combining analytical skills, creativity, and commercial thinking to maximize return on investment.
Ideal candidates are experienced performance marketers who thrive with autonomy and enjoy scaling high-performing campaigns.

Accountabilities

The Senior Google Buyer will own the end-to-end paid search strategy, execution, and optimization process while driving profitable growth through advanced campaign management and strategic insights.

  • Develop and execute Google Ads strategies across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize monthly advertising budgets ranging from $150K to $200K+ while maintaining strong return on ad spend (ROAS) and efficiency.
  • Own campaign performance through continuous testing, analysis, optimization, and scaling initiatives.
  • Build structured processes for campaign testing, reporting, measurement, and performance improvement.
  • Translate advertising data into clear insights, recommendations, and strategic actions.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue and improve customer acquisition efficiency.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop testing frameworks, messaging strategies, and advertising assets.
  • Lead strategic performance discussions, reporting, and growth planning with company leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and emerging advertising opportunities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Support broader marketing initiatives through data-driven recommendations and performance analysis.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is a senior-level Google Ads specialist with extensive experience managing large-scale e-commerce campaigns and delivering measurable growth outcomes.

  • Proven experience managing $150K to $200K+ per month in Google Ads spend for a single brand.
  • Strong hands-on experience with DTC e-commerce businesses, including Shopify, Google Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success scaling campaigns for established brands generating significant revenue.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads as a primary acquisition channel, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube.
  • Experience independently managing accounts with minimal supervision and ownership of strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into business decisions.
  • Proven track record of improving ROAS, reducing customer acquisition costs, and scaling paid acquisition programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present strategies and results to senior stakeholders.
  • Native-level English proficiency for collaboration with US-based leadership teams.
  • Confidence in client-facing environments, including reporting meetings and strategic discussions.
  • Agency or multi-brand experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar tools is preferred.
