Position Overview

In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care, including psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary mental health team to support clients across the lifespan. This is a part-time hybrid PMHNP position that offers autonomy, flexibility, and steady referrals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Adjust psychotropic medications according to clinical response.
• Work together with therapists and clinical staff within a coordinated care model.
• Complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based psychiatric and mental health services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Maryland
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry, mental health, or behavioral health preferred
• Strong assessment and psychopharmacology skills
• Excellent communication and documentation habits
• Foreign Language a plus with pay differential: Spanish, French, and Amharic.
