This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT project leader to oversee large-scale, business-critical technology initiatives in a complex and highly regulated environment. In this role, you will manage the full project lifecycle for enterprise applications, manufacturing systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity projects while partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. - Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex, high-risk IT projects across manufacturing systems, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Define project strategies, scope, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and cost baselines while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and PMO governance.
- Manage project budgets, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, business cases, ROI analysis, and executive approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and collaboration sites while ensuring accurate project reporting and communication.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes to maintain successful delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Support solution design, future-state business process improvements, system optimization, testing, quality assurance, validation, and change management activities.
- Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies, governance standards, and quality expectations while driving continuous improvement across project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex IT projects across multiple technologies and business functions.
- Demonstrated expertise delivering projects involving shop floor manufacturing MES applications, including Solumina.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, portfolio management, governance frameworks, and organizational change management.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements, design technology solutions, and optimize business processes.
- Extensive experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise application projects, including ERP or SAP implementations, is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
- Annual base salary ranging from $86,450 to $136,000, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and market factors.
