Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant III provides direct administrative support for KH director level leaders who have system-wide roles and their departments. Responsible for performing general reception, clerical, and scheduling tasks for the department, including filing, mailing, computer entry, and maintaining departmental files. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years’ clerical experience required.
- Proficiency in essential Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to use the KH intranet and internet effectively and efficiently.
- Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Accurate and pleasant written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Maintains a calm and reassuring demeanor when interacting with others.
- Ability to use good judgment and discretion within defined parameters.
- Capability to work independently with some guidance.

- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars, including pro-actively handling scheduling conflicts.Uses good judgement and discretion in screening and answering inquiries and in maintaining an appointmentschedule.
- Works with confidential information, establishes priorities, and meets deadlines.
- Manage daily office operations, including supply ordering and work orders.
- Handle requests for information in a timely and professional manner, including assisting with prioritizing requestsand handling responses as appropriate.
- Handle meeting preparation including room arrangements and recording minutes.
- Track and monitor expenses including handling/preparing expense reports.
- Organizes and maintains files systems.
- Maintains knowledge of organizational and department policies and the judgement to apply those appropriately.
- Gathers, organizes, and presents data required for financial analyses, quality reports, and departmental staffing asdetermined by the Director.
- May assist the Director with Time and Attendance.
