Position Summary
The Corporate Recruiter will support the Talent Acquisition team and report to the Talent Acquisition Manager. This role is responsible for developing and executing proactive sourcing techniques to fill high-priority corporate positions while building and maintaining talent pipelines for ongoing hiring needs. Through targeted outreach, market research, networking, and candidate relationship management, the Corporate Recruiter will identify qualified talent, strengthen recruiting efforts, and support the organization’s current and future workforce needs.

Through targeted outreach, market research, networking, and candidate relationship management, the Corporate Recruiter will identify qualified talent, strengthen recruiting efforts, and support the organization’s current and future workforce needs.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively engages passive candidates and industry professionals through social media platforms, targeted outreach, and networking to build talent pipelines and identify qualified candidates for current and future hiring needsRecruits, interviews and offers ideal candidates – primary recruitment focus will be Designers, Project Managers, Operations Leaders, Executive-level roles with additional requisitions as assignedBuilds and maintains strong partnerships with department leaders to ensure quality staffing and selection is taking place for positions Coordinates interviews with high organizational skills and presents skilled applicants to leadershipEnsures positive applicant experience throughout the hiring processCollaborates with Marketing for social media posts as neededCreates job advertisements for online posting and targeted job boards; assists the marketing team with social media recruitment posts Establishes and maintains a presence in the fire and life safety industry to stay abreast of industry trends, recruiting best practices, competitors, and rolesUpdates and maintains company website career page and ADP Recruiting, Applicant Tracking and other applicable modules Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time recruiting experience, preferably in corporate or professional recruiting
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, including candidate sourcing, targeted outreach, and proactive talent pipeline developmentDemonstrated experience engaging passive candidates and building relationships with qualified talent through multiple sourcing channels
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skillsProficiency in all core areas of sourcing including research, lead generation, pipeline activation, candidate marketing, and cold callingKnowledge and experience with college and trade school partnershipsPrior experience working with a variety of different online recruiting, networking, and/or social media platforms to engage candidates (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Indeed, etc.)Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate status/activityStrong interpersonal, leadership and collaboration skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate effectivelyUnderstands laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitmentDetail-oriented with excellent organization skillsProficient in working with Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to translate complex problems and concepts in trainingTactful, diplomatic, confidential and the highest level of integrity Strong leadership with demonstrated skills and ability to coach and develop othersDemonstrate the ability to operate effectively in an independent manner, using independent judgment and an understanding of strategic and tactical business needsExcellent networking, relationship management, and collaboration skillsAbility to work with minimal direction, often with tight deadlinesMust be able to travel overnight on occasion
Physical Requirements
- 95% Office setting, including sitting, some bending, walking, and viewing5% Job fair set-ups, including: backdrops, displays and recruiting/marketing materialsTravel required by personal vehicle or flight to other states as needed
