WHAT YOU WILL DO

The role performs and interprets highly complex laboratory testing in registered CLIA subspecialties and non-clinical testing according to SOPs and within established timeframes, ensuring accuracy, precision, and compliance with quality control procedures. It involves making sound decisions based on regulations and protocols, recognizing and reporting atypical events, and documenting CAPAs when required. The position reports test results using manual and LIS systems, maintains complete and accurate records, monitors and operates laboratory equipment, and ensures a safe, clean, and organized work area while managing reagent and supply levels. Additionally, it performs proficiency testing as required by regulatory agencies to demonstrate technical competency.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • 1 year related laboratory testing environment
  • ASCP (American society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent) or achieved within 6 months in position
  • CTBS (Certified Tissue Banking Specialist) or achieve certification within 3 years of employment and maintain throughout employment in this position
Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
