Position Summary
Positive Growth is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to serve as our Intake Coordinator. This leadership role oversees the referral, intake, assessment, and admissions process to ensure timely access to quality behavioral health services. The Intake Coordinator supervises intake staff, supports clinical quality and compliance, builds community referral relationships, and helps ensure exceptional client care. This position also completes assessments as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee referrals, intake, assessments, admissions, and treatment planning.
- Supervise, train, coach, and support intake staff, interns, and assessors.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Monitor quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and program outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and HR on hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
- Lead outreach efforts to increase referrals and expand access to services.
- Support agency operations, audit readiness, and continuous quality improvement.
Required
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current Georgia licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of behavioral health assessment and diagnostic experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or program coordination experience.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR, person-centered treatment planning, clinical documentation, and behavioral health regulations.
Preferred
- Experience with community-based behavioral health programs (CORE, CBAY, outpatient, school-based, or crisis services).
- Knowledge of Medicaid, COA standards, and state/federal behavioral health regulations.
- Experience with staff training, quality improvement, and community outreach.
