About the Role
The Childcare Center Director leads the daily operations of Rocky Mountain Prep's early childhood program, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children, families, and educators thrive. This leader ensures exceptional program quality through instructional leadership, staff coaching, operational excellence, and strong family partnerships. The Director maintains compliance with all Colorado licensing requirements while overseeing enrollment, budgeting, and continuous improvement efforts. Working collaboratively with campus and network leaders, the Director builds a joyful, inclusive culture that reflects Rocky Mountain Prep's mission and values and provides young learners with a strong foundation for lifelong success.

- Lead the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment for all children.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate early childhood educators to build a collaborative, high-performing team.
- Ensure full compliance with Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Partner with families through proactive communication, relationship-building, and exceptional customer service to support each child's growth and well-being.
- Oversee enrollment, attendance, staffing, scheduling, and recordkeeping to ensure efficient and compliant program operations.
- Manage the center's budget, monitor financial performance, and steward resources responsibly while maintaining exceptional program quality.
- Analyze enrollment, staffing, and program quality data to drive continuous improvement and achieve organizational goals.
- Collaborate with school and network leaders to align the childcare program with Rocky Mountain Prep's mission, values, and educational vision.
- Foster an inclusive, joyful, and culturally responsive environment where every child, family, and staff member feels valued, respected, and supported.
Requirements
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current Colorado CDHS Large Center Director’s License
Must Possess the Following:
- Current Colorado CDHS Large Center Director’s License
- Pass a background check
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
- We use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
Preferred
- Minimum 3 years of education leadership
- History of working with infants
- Infant/Toddler Supervisor Qualified
- Experience with childcare centers
Salary
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $85,000 to $92,000, based on experience and qualifications.
