As the Manager of Quoting, you will lead the quoting and Statement of Work (SOW) function, ensuring accurate, efficient, and consistent processes across multiple business areas. You will manage a team of specialists while partnering with internal stakeholders to improve operational discipline, compliance, and customer outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for quoting and SOW activities across sales, product, operations, and finance functions.
- Oversee daily Salesforce CPQ processes, including product configuration, pricing rules, discount approvals, and quote-to-order accuracy.
- Ensure quality and consistency of SOW documentation for professional services and technology engagements.
- Act as an escalation point for pricing questions, quoting exceptions, and scope-related discussions.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure SOWs accurately reflect service models, requirements, and contractual commitments.
- Maintain and improve quoting templates, SOW resources, documentation, and operational workflows.
- Monitor key performance metrics such as quote turnaround times, approval cycles, and revision trends.
- Collaborate with finance teams to support quote-to-cash processes, billing operations, and revenue recognition alignment.
- Ensure quoting and SOW processes comply with financial services regulations, internal controls, and data handling requirements.
- Support Salesforce CPQ enhancements and future platform improvements, including potential Revenue Cloud initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that reduce errors, improve efficiency, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate has experience in revenue operations, quoting, sales operations, or related business functions, with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage complex workflows across multiple teams.
- 4–6+ years of experience in quoting, revenue operations, sales operations, or similar business operations roles.
- 1–2+ years of experience leading or managing teams.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or comparable configure-price-quote platforms.
- Experience creating, reviewing, or managing Statements of Work in a professional services or managed services environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across sales, finance, product, and operations teams.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify improvements, and implement operational efficiencies.
- Experience working in a shared services model supporting multiple teams or business units.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ certifications, or quote-to-cash automation is preferred.
- Understanding of financial services operations, regulatory considerations, and secure information handling practices is a plus.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and technology-enabled service delivery is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field preferred.
