Senior Payroll Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst based in India.

This role offers an opportunity to support critical payroll operations within a global organization operating in a highly regulated and complex environment. As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in payroll processes, compliance, and data accuracy to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, analyze payroll-related information, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys solving problems, managing sensitive information, and working in a collaborative hybrid environment. You will play an important role in maintaining payroll excellence while supporting a global workforce.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and support payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
  • Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and perform detailed analysis to resolve issues and improve payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll records, validate employee information, and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other internal teams to address payroll inquiries and support effective resolution of employee-related matters.
  • Analyze payroll reports, identify trends, and provide insights to support operational improvements and decision-making.
  • Assist with payroll audits, compliance reviews, and documentation requirements to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handle confidential employee and payroll information with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in payroll, finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in payroll operations, payroll analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, data validation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
