Role Purpose: Owns advanced system administration responsibilities across server & compute environments ensuring stable, secure, scalable and well-governed infrastructure operations by driving configuration management, platform hygiene, automation adoption and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead system administration for Linux/Windows compute environments including configuration management, OS performance tuning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle maintenance.
· Implement automation scripts / workflows for routine ops, deployment, configuration changes & environment hygiene reduction of manual work.
· Perform advanced troubleshooting for compute platform incidents, support RCA actions and ensure closure of high impact issues.
· Support capacity planning, resource optimization and compute cost optimization with platform teams.
· Ensure enterprise security baseline compliance, vulnerability remediation and system hardening controls.
· Review changes, validate implementation quality, coach junior engineers and uplift operational maturity.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, including change control discipline, access management standards, and audit trail maintenance.

· MTTR reduction & escalation avoidance
· Patch compliance / security posture improvement
· Automation coverage & manual effort reduction
