Job Description
Job Title: Service Center Management
Employment Type: Part-Time/Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
The Opportunity
We’re hiring leaders for our service centers — people who want to run a business, not just work a shift. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll be on the floor with your team, driving sales and service performance, developing people, and owning the guest experience.
Every store leader starts in our Manager-in-Training (MIT) program. No prior automotive experience is required — we’ll teach you our operations, systems, and leadership standards from the ground up. Depending on your experience, you may step into an Assistant Manager role or move onto the Store Manager track. Many of our managers started as technicians. We promote from within.
Your Path: Manager-in-Training Program
• All new store leaders start in MIT — no prior Jiffy Lube or automotive experience required
• Learn daily store operations, sales and service processes, and our systems through hands-on, in-store training
• Work alongside experienced managers and leaders to build the skills to run your own location
• Progression is based on successful completion of the program and demonstrated readiness
What You’ll Do
• Lead daily store operations including sales, service, and financial performance
• Lead by example — deliver exceptional customer service and drive results on the floor
• Drive revenue growth by coaching your team on service recommendations and sales execution
• Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement
• Manage key performance metrics including sales, labor, and profitability
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members
• Build a strong, accountable, and positive team culture
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor to hit budget and service targets
• Oversee inventory management, cash controls, and operational processes
• Resolve customer concerns and escalated guest issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully operational facility
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Run the store independently in the Store Manager’s absence
What We’re Looking For
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred — automotive, retail, restaurant, or service industry all translate
• Willingness to complete our Manager-in-Training program
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Comfortable managing performance metrics and driving business results
• Strong customer service and sales mindset
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and operational system skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Work in a service shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including bending, lifting, and working with tools and equipment
• Ability to drive customer vehicles
Why Join Our Team?
• Competitive weekly pay
• Bonus and incentive opportunities
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid time off starting Day 1
• Employee discounts
• Industry-leading training programs
• Clear career advancement opportunities
• Team-oriented, supportive work environment
