As a Senior Domain Engineering Specialist, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise customers maximize the value of advanced data resilience, cloud, and security solutions. Working alongside customer success and sales teams, you will provide deep domain expertise to support complex technical engagements, accelerate adoption, and drive long-term customer success. This role combines strategic consulting with hands-on solution design, allowing you to influence executive stakeholders while solving high-impact technical challenges. You'll collaborate across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment where technical excellence and customer outcomes are top priorities. - Serve as a technical specialist supporting Customer Success Engineers, Customer Success Specialists, and Sales teams during advanced customer engagements requiring deep expertise in Veeam Data Platform (VDP), cloud, or security solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, solution design sessions, customer readiness assessments, and resilience maturity evaluations to help customers optimize deployments and reduce operational risk.
- Partner directly with executive stakeholders, including CIOs and CISOs, to advise on data resilience strategies, cloud modernization initiatives, security posture, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Support expansion opportunities across cloud, AI, and security domains by providing technical guidance, validating architectures, and shaping solution strategies.
- Analyze telemetry, platform insights, and maturity indicators to identify optimization opportunities, mitigate risks, and uncover customer growth potential.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless engagement planning, successful technical execution, and accelerated customer time-to-value.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations that strengthen customer confidence and reinforce technical credibility across enterprise accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is considered an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in advanced technical roles such as Cloud Architect, Security Engineer, Platform Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing engineering positions.
- Strong expertise in at least one key domain, including Veeam Data Platform, cloud infrastructure, security, or AI technologies, with the ability to collaborate across multiple technical disciplines.
- Experience designing enterprise solutions, conducting proofs of concept, analyzing telemetry, and applying risk or maturity assessment frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to engage executive stakeholders and communicate technical strategies related to resilience, security, cloud adoption, and data protection.
- Relevant technical certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, cloud platform certifications, or willingness to obtain VMCE certification after joining.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance multiple customer engagements in a technical overlay model.
- Competitive total target compensation ranging from $121,400 to $310,900 USD, depending on geographic location and experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.
