FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.

Position Summary

Fidelity Manufacturing, a growing $150 million manufacturing organization headquartered in Ocala, Florida, is seeking an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking Corporate IT Manager to lead the company's Information Technology operations and technology strategy. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, systems administration, business continuity, and IT operations while developing a long-term technology roadmap that aligns with the company's aggressive growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is more than an IT operations leader—they are a visionary who anticipate future business needs, evaluate emerging technologies, and proactively positions the organization to leverage innovation. This individual will be expected to modernize the IT environment, strengthen cybersecurity, improve operational efficiency, and identify technologies—including Artificial Intelligence (AI)—that create measurable business value.

The Corporate IT Manager will partner closely with executive leadership and department managers to ensure technology remains a competitive advantage while maintaining a secure, reliable, and scalable IT infrastructure capable of supporting future expansion.

Key Responsibilities

IT Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the company's enterprise IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap supporting continued business growth.
  • Serve as the primary technology advisor to executive leadership.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments that improve operational efficiency, security, and profitability.
  • Lead IT budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and technology purchasing.
  • Establish IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, cloud connectivity, and remote access.
  • Oversee Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain high system availability and optimize enterprise performance.
  • Ensure proper lifecycle management of all hardware and software assets.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades and modernization initiatives.

Cybersecurity

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
  • Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices.
  • Manage endpoint protection, firewalls, intrusion detection, vulnerability management, and identity management.
  • Lead cybersecurity awareness initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Develop incident response procedures and business continuity plans.

Manufacturing Systems Support

  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring high availability of production-related technologies.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to improve manufacturing efficiency through technology.
  • Support ERP systems, shop floor technologies, industrial networking, scanners, label printers, and manufacturing automation systems.
  • Understand the unique operational requirements of manufacturing environments where system uptime is critical.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and exceptional customer service.
  • Establish departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party technology partners.

Project Management

  • Lead enterprise technology implementations from planning through execution.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional technology initiatives across all business departments.
  • Ensure projects deliver measurable business value.

Business Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with department leaders.
  • Translate business objectives into technology solutions.
  • Recommend process improvements through automation and digital transformation.
  • Drive operational excellence through effective technology utilization.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Innovation

Fidelity Manufacturing recognizes Artificial Intelligence as an emerging business enabler and seeks a technology leader who understands how AI can improve efficiency, decision-making, and long-term growth.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of current AI technologies and demonstrate the ability to evaluate practical business applications, including:

  • AI-powered business intelligence and predictive analytics
  • Workflow automation using AI tools
  • AI-assisted documentation and knowledge management
  • AI-enhanced cybersecurity monitoring and threat detection
  • AI-powered help desk and end-user support solutions
  • Manufacturing process optimization through machine learning
  • Predictive maintenance technologies
  • AI solutions that improve supply chain visibility
  • Generative AI applications for productivity, reporting, documentation, and process improvement
  • Responsible governance and security practices for AI implementation

Experience implementing AI solutions is not required; however, demonstrated knowledge of current AI technologies and the ability to identify practical opportunities for business adoption is highly desirable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10–15 years of progressive Information Technology experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • 7–10 years of IT experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level infrastructure in a multi-site business environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology initiatives and infrastructure modernization.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience managing technology budgets and vendor relationships.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should possess advanced knowledge in:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations and integrations.
  • Knowledge of AI technologies and enterprise AI adoption strategies is a significant plus.
