Accountabilities:
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on a broad range of employment matters including hiring, performance management, employee relations, accommodations, compensation, disciplinary actions, leaves of absence, and terminations
  • Advise on workforce planning initiatives such as reorganizations, restructures, and reductions in force, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with business goals
  • Partner with People and HR teams to develop, implement, and refine employment policies, procedures, and scalable best practices across the organization
  • Monitor and interpret employment law developments across the U.S., Europe, and APAC, ensuring proactive compliance and risk mitigation across jurisdictions
  • Lead or support internal workplace investigations involving employee complaints, misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and related issues, ensuring fair and timely resolution
  • Manage employment disputes, agency claims, and litigation in collaboration with external counsel while developing strategies to mitigate legal and operational risk
  • Review, draft, and negotiate employment-related agreements including offer letters, severance agreements, consulting arrangements, and restrictive covenant agreements
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion activities from an employment law and workforce integration perspective
  • Deliver practical training and guidance to managers, HR teams, and leadership on employment law and compliance best practices
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
  • 6+ years of in-house employment law experience, ideally within a high-growth technology or multinational organization
  • Deep expertise in U.S. employment law including federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience advising on European employment law matters, with exposure to APAC employment frameworks preferred
  • Strong background in conducting workplace investigations and managing employment-related disputes or litigation
  • Experience supporting cross-border employment issues such as remote work, international hiring, mobility, and employee transfers
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, business-oriented legal advice
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and stakeholder management skills in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Ability to balance legal risk with commercial priorities while enabling business growth and scalability
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $200,000 to $250,000, plus equity and performance-based compensation
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and families
  • Equity participation offering long-term ownership in a high-growth technology organization
  • Fully remote work flexibility with global collaboration across time zones
  • Paid time off and company holidays supporting rest and work-life balance
  • Retirement and financial planning support through savings and equity programs
  • Professional development opportunities in a cutting-edge AI-driven environment
  • Inclusive, high-growth culture focused on autonomy, impact, and continuous learning
