Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Temple, TX

Reports To: Table Top Supervisor

Primary duties will include:

• Examine completed workpieces for defects

• Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications

• Set stops on machine beds and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes

• Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten material

• Report all outages to supervisor

• Report scrap daily

• Clean up during shift as needed to be safe at the end

• Set the highest ethical standards for self and others.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience

• Ability to safely and effectively use machines

• Product knowledge

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Strong attention to detail

• Must wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

Preferred education:

• High School diploma is preferred, GED required.

• We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma

• CNC Operator a plus

• CNC Operator- Vector a plus

The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are:

• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment, heat and cold.

• Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Ability to stand prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.

• Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.
