This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Software Developer based in the United States.
This role sits at the core of a modern enterprise integration ecosystem, combining Salesforce Health Cloud development with MuleSoft API engineering to enable seamless, secure, and scalable data exchange across clinical and operational systems. You will design and build end-to-end solutions that connect CRM, legacy platforms, and third-party applications using API-led architecture and best-in-class Salesforce development practices. Operating within a fast-paced Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with administrators, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The role requires strong engineering depth across Apex, Lightning Web Components, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, with a strong focus on performance, security, and compliance in a regulated healthcare context. This is an opportunity to directly impact system reliability and data-driven decision-making in a high-stakes, mission-critical environment.
- Design, develop, and support Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, including clinical and non-clinical workflows such as Care Programs, Patient Cards, and healthcare data models.
- Build scalable custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and advanced Salesforce Flow automation.
- Optimize Salesforce performance by improving workflows, managing governor limits, and ensuring efficient system architecture.
- Implement and maintain Salesforce security models, including roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security in alignment with compliance standards.
- Design and develop MuleSoft-based integration solutions using Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and API-led connectivity (Experience, Process, and System APIs).
- Manage full API lifecycle activities including RAML/OAS specification design, testing, deployment, and monitoring via Anypoint Exchange and API Manager.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT) and ensure robust API security, logging, and error handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts, resolve integration issues, and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Conduct data migration, transformation, and cleanup activities using Salesforce tools and integration pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies while ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- 4–7 years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Salesforce and MuleSoft ecosystems.
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and declarative tools such as Flow.
- Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, CloudHub, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave for enterprise integrations.
- Deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs, web services, and service-oriented architecture principles.
- Experience implementing Salesforce security frameworks, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing models.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce deployment best practices is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce and/or MuleSoft certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architect, MCD) are strongly preferred.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market benchmarks
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- Flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match
- Paid time off and paid parental leave
- Professional development opportunities, including training, mentorship, and certification support
- Employee wellness programs and mental health resources
- Recognition programs, bonuses, and performance-based incentives
- Inclusive, collaborative work environment with cross-functional exposure
