Description:

The primary function of Junior Analyst, Financial & Professional Risk is to support activities related to the delivery of exceptional client service. This includes working directly with clients on requests involving insurance coverage, service, renewal, new business, or claim issues; working with other members of the FPR team, collecting, analyzing and presenting information or analysis used to educate/make recommendations to clients.

The Risk Analyst for the Financial & Professional Risk team will work with management and professional coverages such as D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber & Professional Liability.

OBJECTIVES AND ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide day-to-day support to a portfolio of clients working in collaboration with other members of the FPR team. This includes preparing applications, managing certificates of insurance, endorsements, and schedules of insurance; invoicing; file set-up and maintenance; policy change requests, client and insurance carrier correspondence; and oversee policy checklist completion per Hauser’s professional standards manual.
  • Actively participate in the renewal process by obtaining renewal information, which includes assisting in the preparation of submissions, market applications, and loss information; follow-up with insurance carriers on status of quotations; prepare renewal proposals with an attention to detail.
  • Utilize Hauser Group’s tools and systems including Applied EPIC system to deliver tasks concerning coverage placement and client service while adhering to established standards and workflows.
  • Provide customer service support to clients in the areas of billing and other plan administration issues.
  • Help analyze coverage quotes, rates and other renewal documentation for management and professional lines insurance policies.
  • Assist in the development and assembly of materials that enhance client’s understanding of their insurance coverages.
  • Assist with other miscellaneous service duties as time and capacity allows.
  • Invest efforts in training / education that supports career development and the drive to become a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years of work experience, preferred in the insurance industry
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license, or must be willing to receive within 60 days of employment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience with Applied EPIC preferred
  • Must be willing to work on-site four days per week, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
