Junior Recruiter- Healthcare

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Recruiter – Healthcare based in the United States.

This is a hands-on recruiting opportunity focused on supporting clinical and non-clinical healthcare hiring across federal programs.
You will manage sourcing and initial screening while building strong candidate pipelines for multiple healthcare positions.
The role offers exposure to the federal contracting environment and the opportunity to work alongside experienced recruiters and program managers.
You will engage directly with candidates, assess qualifications, and help guide them through each stage of the hiring process.
Success in this position requires strong organization, communication, persistence, and attention to detail.
It is well suited to a healthcare recruiter looking to expand their experience in a structured, mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities
  • Source qualified candidates for clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, relevant credentials and licensure, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
  • Write, publish, and refresh job advertisements to maintain strong candidate visibility and pipeline activity.
  • Maintain accurate candidate profiles, notes, statuses, and activity within the applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • Prepare candidate summaries and detailed screening notes for hiring manager review.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates, follow-ups, and guidance.
  • Support onboarding documentation, pre-employment requirements, background checks, and other recruitment-related administrative activities as needed.
  • Maintain active pipelines across multiple open requisitions and meet weekly sourcing, submittal, and pipeline activity targets.
  • Collaborate with senior recruiters and program managers to understand hiring requirements and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Support compliant and consistent recruiting practices in alignment with applicable federal contracting and employment requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience focused on clinical or non-clinical healthcare positions, in either an agency or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, or comparable recruiting platforms.
  • Working knowledge of common healthcare job titles, professional credentials, certifications, and licensure requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence conducting frequent outbound candidate calls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build candidate relationships, maintain accurate records, and provide a professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Reliable home-office setup with high-speed internet and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment sponsorship.
  • A college degree is not required; relevant recruiting experience and demonstrated performance are prioritized.
  • Experience recruiting for federal government contracts or government contractors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMS or Medicare-related roles, including medical review, appeals, redetermination, or reimbursement, is an advantage.
  • Experience recruiting licensed clinical professionals such as RNs, LPNs, therapists, or similar healthcare specialists is a plus.
  • Exposure to OFCCP, EEO, or federal recruiting compliance recordkeeping is desirable.
  • Boolean search proficiency is an additional advantage.
