This position is full-time

40 hours per week

Primarily 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinical Data Abstractor is responsible for the collection, abstraction, and entry of clinical performance metrics into state and national databases. This position ensures data integrity and regulatory compliance under DNV Healthcare and CDC guidelines serving primarily as a non-clinical support conduit for the Primary Stroke Program and the Infection Prevention departments. The ideal candidate possesses strong data literacy and a deep understanding of medical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Experience in an acute or ambulatory healthcare or clinical field.

CMA, CNA preferred.

Experience working within an EMR, familiar with the use of spreadsheets and having basic computer and data entry skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
-
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
-
Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write.
-
Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
