Job Description
Part-Time | 8 Hours per Week
Evening Shift | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Schedule
- Week 1: Monday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Week 2: Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Every Other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Pay Range: $17.70 – $19.15 per hour
Weekend Differential: +$1.25 per hour

As a Resident Care Assistant, you will support residents and assist the nursing team with daily care and activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with personal care needs such as eating, grooming, and mobility
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks while monitoring intake as directed
- Helping maintain clean, organized, and welcoming resident spaces
- Providing companionship through conversation, encouragement, and participation in activities
- Supporting resident safety and responding promptly to resident needs
- Transporting residents to activities, chapel services, or appointments within the community
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Helping ensure each resident feels respected, cared for, and valued
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude
- Dependable attendance and strong work habits
- Desire to serve older adults with compassion and respect
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to learn and follow Fairmount policies and procedures
