About the Role
We are currently looking for an Animal Care Specialist to join our Housing Team. Reporting to the Animal Care Supervisor, the successful candidate must have a good knowledge of livestock care and be physically capable of handling large bulls. Hay, silage and manure handling are part of the regular job duties.

- Perform semen collection proceduresFeed and care for bulls, ensuring proper nutrition and welfareOperate and maintain farm equipment safely and efficientlyAssist with seasonal crop workConduct mechanical and manual barn cleaningHandle hay, silage, and manure as part of daily operations
What You Need to Succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalentValid driver’s licenseStrong agricultural background with experience in livestock handling and careAbility to operate farm equipment; solid mechanical aptitudePhysically capable of handling large animalsExcellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetk

Relevant du superviseur des soins aux animaux, la personne retenue doit avoir une bonne connaissance des soins au bétail et être physiquement capable de manipuler de grands taureaux. La manipulation du foin, de l’ensilage et du fumier fait partie des tâches régulières.
Ce que tu feras :- Effectuer les procédures de collecte de semenceNourrir et soigner les taureaux en veillant à leur nutrition et leur bien-êtreUtiliser et entretenir l’équipement agricole de manière sécuritaire et efficaceParticiper aux travaux agricoles saisonniersEffectuer le nettoyage mécanique et manuel des bâtimentsManipuler le foin, l’ensilage et le fumier dans le cadre des opérations quotidiennes
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalentPermis de conduire valideSolide expérience agricole, incluant la manipulation et le soin du bétailCapacité à utiliser l’équipement agricole; bonne aptitude mécaniqueCapacité physique à manipuler de grands animauxExcellentes compétences en communication et esprit d’équipe
