We're seeking a motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead our new store location! This individual will oversee daily business operations, develop high-performing teams, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable growth while creating an exceptional experience for both employees and customers.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the location by leading operations, sales, customer service, safety, financial performance, and employee development. This role provides strategic direction while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations to ensure customers receive industry-leading service.

The ideal candidate is an engaging leader who enjoys coaching others, solving problems, and creating a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
Create a culture centered around safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement
Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop employees
Conduct performance reviews and provide regular coaching
Promote teamwork across operations, sales, and service departments

Operations
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service
Monitor productivity, scheduling, and labor utilization
Ensure inventory, warehouse, and equipment are properly maintained
Maintain compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards
Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively

Customer Relationships
Build long-term partnerships with commercial fleet customers
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships
Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction through consistent execution

Financial Performance
Manage location profitability and operating expenses
Review financial reports and key performance indicators
Develop action plans to improve revenue and operational efficiency
Monitor budgets and maximize return on assets

Business Development
Partner with the sales team to grow local market share
Support customer retention initiatives
Identify opportunities to increase service offerings within existing accounts
Represent the company within the local business community

What We're Looking For

5+ years of leadership experience in commercial tire, fleet maintenance, transportation, automotive, heavy equipment, industrial services, or a related industry

Experience leading multiple employees in an operations environment

Strong financial and business acumen

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to develop and motivate employees

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems

Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
Commercial fleet service experience
Tire industry leadership experience
P&L management experience
Multi-location leadership experience
Experience working with technicians, warehouse teams, and service advisors
Lean, EOS, or continuous improvement experience
