We are looking for an outpatient clinician who is passionate about ensuring kids and families get the mental health services they need. This clinician works with clients of all ages, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, young adults, caregivers, and family systems with complex trauma, mental health, and behavioral needs. Services are delivered through a combination of telehealth and office-based sessions at Tennyson. This hybrid in-person/remote position is full-time and will be part of our Community Based Programs team, which serves individuals throughout the Denver-Metro area, providing individual and family therapy, parenting support, skills training, and resourcing and care coordination.

Essential Job Functions
- Have knowledge of and experience with strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapy and therapeutic interventions
- Strength in rapport-building skills, holding supportive boundaries, and working through therapeutic resistance
- Ability to complete clinical assessments and trauma-informed, individualized treatment plans
- Capacity to be timely, consistent, and thorough with documentation; completing session notes within 24 hours
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks, and independently manage own schedule
- Willingness to take initiative and aptitude for working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
- Possess a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of and ability to implement conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to create and maintain healthy boundaries with colleagues and clients
- Facilitate an average of 5 therapy sessions/day for a typical caseload of 28 clients
- Maintain chart compliance per regulatory and funder requirements
- Supports and advances quality improvement efforts through adherence to Tennyson Center policies and procedures, regulator standards, and best practices
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-hire physical
- Implement behavioral interventions as needed
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in an office setting
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle
Working Conditions
- If working remotely, must be able to provide telehealth sessions from a confidential location
- In office sessions will be performed at Tennyson Center campus location
- Possibility of occasional home or community-based session location
- Minimal travel requirements
- Schedule is Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday with evening availability on weekdays
Minimum Qualifications
- Master of Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a graduate degree in a related field
- Licensed in the state of Colorado (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Previous outpatient experience required
- Trauma-informed clinicians required
- All candidates must have (or qualify to obtain) a current Colorado driver's license
- All positions require a pre-employment drug test, FBI fingerprint check, CBI criminal records check, child abuse registry check, motor vehicle record check, academic record verification, and reference checks
