Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Technical
Accountabilities:
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Technical based in India.
As an Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Technical, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions for enterprise clients. You will work across the full implementation lifecycle, from technical design and customization to integration, deployment, and post-production support. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex business challenges through scalable ERP solutions while collaborating with functional consultants, architects, and cross-functional teams. You will leverage modern development practices, cloud technologies, and Microsoft Dynamics tools to build reliable and efficient systems. - Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical solutions aligned with business requirements and Microsoft best practices.
- Participate in all phases of ERP implementation projects, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Develop customizations, extensions, and enhancements using X++ while applying strong object-oriented programming principles.
- Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and internal or external systems using technologies such as Web Services, DIXF, DMF, OData, SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, SSIS, and SQL.
- Perform complex data migration activities, ensuring data quality, accuracy, integrity, and performance using DIXF, DMF, and other migration tools.
- Develop, customize, and optimize SSRS reports and reporting solutions based on business needs.
- Configure and support technical components including workflows, batch jobs, security roles, user access, and system administration activities.
- Manage environments, source control, build pipelines, releases, and deployments using Azure DevOps, ALM tools, and related development platforms.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server components including stored procedures, views, functions, and queries to improve application performance.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable ERP solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, support materials, and development standards while ensuring compliance with security and coding guidelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
- Proficiency in X++ programming with strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience developing integrations using Web Services, DIXF, DMF, OData, SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, SSIS, and direct SQL.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with Azure Logic Apps and third-party applications.
- Strong experience with data migration, technical upgrades, and code upgrades from Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Expertise in SSRS report development and customization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and query optimization.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control, deployment, and release management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 technology stack, including .NET, Exchange, and SharePoint integrations.
- Experience delivering multiple end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations implementation projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.
