About This Job
We are seeking a creative and organized Marketing Specialist to support VueStay Vacations’ marketing and sales efforts. In this role, you will help execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, maintain brand consistency across digital and print materials, and provide essential support to the sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated marketing professional eager to grow within a newly established marketing team.
Compensation
$24-$28 per hour depending on experience
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Brevo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools.
- Develop newsletters and automated drip campaigns targeting prospective and returning guests and owners.
- Maintain and segment email contact lists to ensure accurate, up-to-date subscriber data.
- Assist in creating new lead sources.
- Assist in the design, editing, and production of marketing brochures, flyers, and promotional print materials.
- Assist with ordering promotional items and apparel.
- Support the marketing team with website updates, including publishing blog posts, updating promotions, refreshing landing page content, and uploading photography.
- Coordinate with the web development team to communicate content changes and track updates through completion.
- Assist in the execution of social media content calendars for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts — including photography, short-form video, stories, and Reels — that showcase VueStay properties and experiences.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions; respond in a timely and on-brand manner.
- Provide marketing support to the sales team, including materials and campaign assistance.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication, innovation, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align departmental goals with broader organizational strategy.

Skills + Qualifications
- Experience working in the vacation rental, hospitality, or tourism industry is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred, though we recognize that great talent comes from many different paths.
- 1–3 years’ professional experience in marketing or communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve company goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace.
- Proficient with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) and social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Later, or similar).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Basic experience with a content management system (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic SEO principles and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is a bonus.
- Experience using AI tools to support marketing work is a bonus.
Workplace Environment + Expectations
- Fully remote work environment with reliable internet connection.
- Typically a Monday – Friday workweek with expectations to be flexible to support the needs of the business, including peak season.
- Able to work independently across time zones while staying closely connected to the Marketing team.
- Occasional travel less than 10% of the time for team offsites and market visits.
Physical Demands
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
