Job Description

The Supreme Court of Nevada, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), is seeking a Guardianship Program Supervisor to lead the statewide Guardianship Office. The Guardianship Office provides voluntary compliance, financial review, investigative, and technical assistance services to Nevada's district courts to strengthen guardianship oversight, promote accountability, and protect vulnerable adults.

Reporting to the Statutory and Family Support Unit Program Manager, the Guardianship Program Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary team of Guardianship Forensic Specialists, Guardianship Investigators, and Guardianship Technicians. The supervisor directs financial forensic reviews, administrative investigations, and compliance activities; provides technical guidance on complex guardianship matters; collaborates with district courts and stakeholders to promote consistent statewide practices; and supports the continued development of effective guardianship oversight programs.

The Guardianship Office partners with district courts by reviewing guardianship cases for statutory compliance, conducting enhanced financial reviews and administrative investigations, identifying reporting deficiencies, assisting with guardianship case management initiatives, promoting best practices, and supporting consistent statewide performance measures. Services are provided to Nevada district courts at no cost and include a public hotline for guardianship questions and concerns.

This position may be based in either Carson City or Las Vegas and requires periodic statewide travel. This is an administrative compliance and investigative position focused on guardianship and fiduciary oversight. This is not a sworn law enforcement or peace officer position and does not include arrest powers, criminal investigative authority, or POST certification requirements.

After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

  • Represent the Guardianship Office at meetings, committees, conferences, and stakeholder workgroups.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
