Night Technician – Transitional Living Facility - Part Time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Technician to join our team at a transitional living facility. This role is vital in providing safe, supportive, and effective overnight care for residents as they work towards independence and stability. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assist residents during overnight hours to ensure their safety and well-being
- Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent situations, following established protocols
- Conduct regular safety checks of the facility, including security and environmental hazards
- Document incidents, resident activities, and any relevant observations accurately and thoroughly
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents as needed
- Enforce facility rules and policies consistently and professionally
- Collaborate with daytime staff to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in social services or healthcare preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work overnight shifts
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to supporting vulnerable populations

Requirements:Conduct hourly apartment checks, transporting of residents to and from work, medication count, morning med pass, and MAR completion, filing, cross checks 1st & 2nd shifts documentation, office organization and light cleaning of common areas.
The applicant must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical. A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required. DHS FBI Fingerprints, PA Childline, and PA Criminal clearances are required.
Working hours are Third Shift, working Saturday, Sunday and Monday 11:00 pm-7:00 am
