Job Description:
The Project Manager II will be in charge of managing post-award prototype projects. The PM will collaborate with the Government Agreements Officer’s Representative (AOR), Government technical experts, and our Performers to support post-award execution goals and objectives. Your talents, perspectives, and efforts will directly contribute to project success and facilitate positive mission outcomes. The dedicated Project Manager shall formulate and enforce work standards such as project life cycle, use existing process flows, and comply with documentation standards. The PM will work closely with our subcontractors and Government clients to keep all parties informed of prototype status, identify any potential problems, and troubleshoot any project issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Coordination and Execution
Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to meet performance, schedule, and budget requirements. Attend and support technical and contractual meetings for assigned projects. Review contractual documents that affect cost, schedule, and scope of projects. Support project execution by ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables are tracked and aligned with project objectives.Stakeholder Communication and Support
Facilitate effective communication and coordination between government clients, consortium members, and other stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed of project status and key updates. Ensure clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders involved in project execution.Risk and Issue Management
Identify and assess project risks and assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies. Escalate risks and issues appropriately to support timely resolution.Financial and Performance Tracking
Track and report on project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance. Provide financial updates and projections to stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and consistency in project financial tracking and reporting.Reporting and Process Improvement
Generate and present project reports to internal and external stakeholders. Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.Qualifications Expected for Position:
Required Education/Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or related field. Active TS/SCI clearanceRequired Experience and Abilities
3+ years of experience in Project Management or a similar role. Experience working with Government or the Department of War (DoW). Demonstrated strong oral communication skills and very strong writing skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and support project execution in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills/Experience
PMP, Scrum, Lean Six-Sigma, or other related certifications. Experience working with Other Transaction Authorities. Familiarity with project management methodologies.Location:

$80,000 - $110,000

The pay range for this role is:80,000 - 110,000 USD per year(DC Metro Area)
