Grocery Manager at Hansens IGA – Bangor, Wisconsin

Position Purpose:
Represents our store's image in a positive manner by providing our customers with helpful, courteous service and responsible for ordering all grocery and/or designated store merchandise effectively and timely.

Qualifications/Skills:
Must be 18 years or older.
Honest, team-oriented person who has a good work ethic.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Interaction with customers will be friendly, courteous, positive and enthusiastic.

Order merchandise for the following departments, including but limited to: grocery, general merchandise, and health and beauty aids.

Sets merchandise displays.

Deal with vendors and salespersons regarding department products.

Checks-in merchandise to make sure the store receives what the invoice indicates.

Know all products and location of all products in the store.

Follow store sign program as directed by the corporate office.

Use the Ten Foot rule.

Directs or shows customers where items are in the store.

Face and rotate existing product if needed.

May perform duties as cashier, stocking or bagging when needed.

Stays productive while punched in.

Other duties as they are assigned.

Physical Requirements

Lifts 30lbs regularly, 50lbs occasionally.

Stand and walk for the duration of work shift.

Reaching and stooping/kneeling regularly.
